Great experience. Lovely to be so close to the city. Only concern I had was that there was no information on breakfast times. I missed breakfast because of this and it caused a lot of frustration for me and my partner. I enjoyed my stay overall

Hotel is lovely and central with bus services from outside the hotel to the city. Very clean and tidy staff very friendly I would return.

Great location, nice hotel with lovely restaurant but the room wasn't so clean so not too great overall.

Nice hotel bedroom very comfortable fine big room breakfast excellent had bar food also very good unfortunately parking very limited we were lucky to get the last space that's the only draw back otherwise enjoyed our short stay.

Excellent location

Everything about the stay was excellent. The room was very clean with tea and coffee making facilities laid on- even complementary biscuits and bottled water. Parking was on a first come basis with overflow in a near by car park at a reduced rate.

Lovely food and staff were fab. Pool was fantastic. Only issue was room was very warm as no air con and with the window open the traffic noise was annoying.

We had a lovely stay at the Maldron hotel one night was short but we made the most of it Our breakfast was delicious

Great location, staff very pleasant (happy). Pool bit small but nice to have. Only issue was tiny car park, bit of a hike to hotel with bags. I will stay there again.

Basic hotel room good for a little break away

Great location.We went to a gig in the Opera house and couldn't have been staying nearer!!Big comfy bed,nice clean room,hotel has pool but we didn't get a chance to use it.Limited parking at hotel but parking nearby at city centre carpark

Lovely stay in Maldron, Shandon, Cork. 5 minutes walk from city centre, nice pool, good breakfast, very comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again. We were lucky to get into the hotel carpark

Hotel is located very close to city centre. Staff were very helpful. Good variety of food for breakfast even though the buffet was a bit cold.

Ideally located across the River from Cork Opera House.

Location is very handy, parking however is a disaster. Staff not particularly friendly, receptionist & manager borderline rude at times. Pool area quite grotty.

I had booked and paid for 2 adults but was charged for an extra breakfast

Great staff on front exceptional service from zsusanne.Very good breakfast.Unfortunately went to use pool and jacuzzi mostly refugees in pool which was fine except two dark bearded men who were a bit intimidating.Jacuzzi used by family didn't get out

Lovely hotel Friendly staff nice food and very welcoming Hotel

Room was too small. Very limited space for 2 adults. Also near street very noisy. Very loud noise from room next to ours so couldn't sleep.

Our room was excellent, and when I mentioned that the shower did not work, we were given a key for the room next door, should we like to shower there, (though we had a bath). Breakfast is really good, with excellent coffee! I will def stay again.

Lovely hotel within walking distance of Cork city centre. Staff were extremely friendly and courteous throughout our stay. The two breakfasts and dinner on one evening were of a very good standard with plenty to chose from. Pool lovely. Very hygienic

Great location, excellent food. Only issues I had is sauna was closed due to government restrictions(not true saunas open all over Ireland). The lift didn't work and they say fixing soon. They aren't. Been like that weeks.

Staff were fantastic in all areas. But the lady who was looking after us for our dinner was very attentive and friendly. The breakfast food was lovely . Great choice of food and it tasted as good as it looked.

Great location, friendly staff and decent size, clean bedrooms

Limited spaces in car park. Stayed in Executive room was just like standard double. Very noisy no sound reduction between the bedroom walls. Hotel was clean and the catering staff were very friendly and efficient. Food was really good. Overall 5/10..

From the moment of arrival the staff were friendly, professional and accommodating making my stay a most enjoyable experience. Cork is a fabulous place to visit.

The Maldron Hotel is ideally located, being a short walk into the city centre. The staff were so friendly, helpful and nothing was a problem for them. They certainly made our stay more than enjoyable. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Fantastic weekend break in a lovely hotel situated right in the center of Cork city! Incredibly helpful hotel staff made the trip with my coeliac daughter one to remember, all queries/requests dealt with with the minimum of fuss!

Maldon Shandon was the perfect location for us. It is in a wonderful old part of the city, there is so much to see and do, and you can walk into town in minutes. Breakfast was excellent!

Fantastic staff, one nicer than the other. They couldn't do enough for us, 10 out 10 for the staff. Highly recommend hotel for 2 reasons in particular, easy walking distance to shops and restaurants plus city walks and the staff were fantastic.

I found the hotel lovely, it’s not exactly in city centre so taxis/car were needed, the car park was small, the receptionists were all very helpful however I found some of the bar staff were slightly disrespectful to some other customers

Hotel's in a great location for central Cork. The staff were v friendly and helpful. Service for breakfast was excellent and food very good however service for dinner was slow and food was only OK. Beds were not the most comfortable. Lovely pool.

Conveniently located and easy to find, really enjoyed our stay at The Maldron, Shandon, Cork. Staff so friendly, welcoming and helpdul. The room was huge, clean and comfortable and the dinner and breakfast were delicious.

Our stay at the Maldron Hotel in Cork City was very enjoyable. The location was fantastic, two mins walk to city centre, we'll definitely going back to stay there again.
